General Terms and Conditions of the Organizer

Tickets can only be purchased at www.deinetickets.de, www.eventim.de, and www.poponaut.de, as well as at the box office. The processing of ticket purchases is governed exclusively by the General Terms and Conditions of the aforementioned ticket platforms.

Infants and young children under 8 years of age are not permitted access to the event grounds.

Children between 8 and 14 years of age may only attend the event when accompanied by a person holding parental care rights (custodial authority). Youth between 14 and 16 years of age are admitted to concerts until 24:00 (midnight) without a person holding parental care rights, provided they have parental permission. Corresponding written permission must be presented upon entry. For youth aged 16 and older, access to concerts and musical performances after midnight is permitted when accompanied by a person holding parental care rights. As a rule, persons holding parental care rights are the parents (not, however, designated adults/guardians appointed for supervision, e.g., an older friend). The aforementioned rules apply exclusively to concerts and not to any dance events held within the event area. The statutory provisions of the Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) apply, including on all parking, access, entry, and camping areas.

The liability of the organizer for damages of any kind is excluded. This exclusion does not apply to damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the organizer, in cases of simple negligence by the organizer for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for the negligent breach of essential contractual obligations by the organizer. Essential contractual obligations are all duties whose fulfillment is essential to the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance the visitor routinely relies and may rely.

In cases of simple negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, the organizer’s liability – with the exception of damage to life, body, or health – is limited to the damage typical for the contract and foreseeable by the organizer upon conclusion of the contract or commission of the breach of duty. To this extent, the organizer’s liability is excluded for damages that are attributable exclusively to the visitor’s sphere of risk.

The foregoing liability exclusions and limitations also apply to the liability of the organizer for its corporate bodies, employees, and vicarious agents, as well as the personal liability of the organizer’s corporate bodies, employees, and vicarious agents.

Before entering the festival grounds or camping areas for the first time, the required admission tickets for that respective area will be completely validated, and the visitor will be fitted with a wristband. This replaces the admission ticket. When re-entering the festival grounds, the undamaged wristband must be presented as the admission ticket. Otherwise, there is no entitlement to re-entry.

Upon entry to both the camping area and the festival grounds, a security check including a body check will be conducted by the organizer’s security personnel for safety reasons. When entering the camping area, hand luggage and baggage will also be subjected to a security check.

Prohibited items on the festival grounds include, among others:

• Any bags and backpacks exceeding height 44 cm x width 38 cm x depth 30 cm
• Beverages and liquids of all kinds
• Firearms, cutting, stabbing, and other weapons of all kinds
• Fireworks, sparklers, and other pyrotechnic items of all kinds
• Laser pointers
• Laptops and tablets
• Audio, photo, and video equipment
• Bulky items of any kind, e.g., flagpoles, umbrellas (walking stick umbrellas)

Carrying the above-mentioned items may lead to the rejection and exclusion of the visitor from the event.

Only the following items are permitted on the festival grounds:

• Small belt and bum bags / fanny packs
• Bags up to a size of height 44 cm x width 37 cm x depth 30 cm
• Mobile phones
• Wallets
• Keys
• Personal medication + hygiene products
• Small folding umbrellas (no walking stick umbrellas)

Prohibited items on the camping and campervan site include, among others:

• Firearms, cutting, stabbing, and other weapons of all kinds
• Saws, axes, hatchets, and comparable tools
• Pyrotechnic items of all kinds
• Construction timber and firewood
• Water-hazardous substances and liquids
• Gas cylinders outside of approved gas installations in campervans and caravans
• Glass bottles and other glass containers
• Lead-acid batteries
• Megaphones
• Power generators
• Drones of all kinds
• Grills / barbecues of any kind
• Loudspeakers / music systems or similar

Only the following items are permitted in the camping area:

• Tents and equipment/accessories
• Personal clothing and gear
• Provisions and beverages
• Gas cartridges up to a maximum of 450g
• Environmentally friendly gel batteries approved for camping use

The organizer explicitly points out that increased volume levels may occur during events with music. This creates a risk of potential hearing damage and health issues. The organizer accepts no liability for any hearing or health damage that may occur. Hearing protection can be purchased from security personnel for a small fee.

Our liability in the event of cancellation, termination, postponement, or other material changes to the event is limited to the refund of the face value of the admission ticket. Personal expenses such as travel and accommodation in connection with the event are at your own risk and will not be reimbursed by the organizer.

In the event of cancellation, termination, or postponement of the event for which the organizer is not responsible (e.g., force majeure, venue closure, weather conditions, or restrictions due to the Covid-19 virus), the organizer will make up for the event as far and as soon as possible and reasonable. In this case, the admission tickets remain valid.

The event generally takes place in all weather conditions. The organizer reserves the right to interrupt or cancel the event at any time in the event of a weather-related hazard to visitors and staff.

The visitor irrevocably and free of charge consents to the use of their image and voice.

The organizer points out that the event may be filmed and photographed, and audio recordings may be made. These recordings will be used by the organizer or authorized third parties for advertising and promotional purposes (internet, flyers, or similar).

The organizer does not tolerate any unconstitutional symbols of any kind.

Violations will be punished by exclusion from the event.

Parking in the outer area is at the visitor’s own risk, and the organizer accepts no liability whatsoever for any type of damage.

Persons who unlawfully gain access to or remain on the festival and camping grounds will be reported to the authorities for fraudulently obtaining services (Section 265a of the German Criminal Code / StGB) and trespass (Section 123 of the German Criminal Code / StGB).

• The camping area is open to visitors from Friday at 10:00 AM.
• Access to the camping area is only permitted with a valid festival wristband including camping issued by the organizer.
• The German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply to the entire event grounds.
• Walking speed must be maintained at all times throughout the entire event area. Instructions given by security personnel when being guided to camping spots must be followed.
• Escape and emergency rescue routes must be kept clear at all times without exception.
• There is no entitlement to the availability of a specific camping spot.
• Electricity is not provided.
• Barbecuing and open fires of any kind are strictly prohibited.
• Waste disposal is only permitted at the designated trash collection points. Environmental protection rules must be observed at all times.
• Access to the infield (concert area) is permitted only from 3:00 PM onwards.

Departure must take place on Sunday by 2:00 PM at the latest.

1. General Provisions

1.1 These House and Bathing Regulations serve to ensure safety, order, and cleanliness throughout the entire area of Karlsbad – Angersdorfer Teiche, including the entrance and outdoor facilities, as well as the peace and relaxation of our guests. Anything that could impair the well-being of our bathers and the persons working for us within the scope of bathing operations (hereinafter referred to as staff) must be refrained from. In the event of violations, we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently expel visitors from the pool facilities.
1.2 These House and Bathing Regulations are binding for all guests. Upon entering the facilities, every visitor accepts these regulations as well as all orders issued to maintain operational safety. The provisions of the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) and the respective signage apply to the facility’s own parking spaces. Vehicles and bicycles must be parked in the designated areas.
1.3 Guests must refrain from anything that runs counter to good morals and the maintenance of safety, peace, and order. In particular, sexual harassment, e.g., through suggestive gestures, statements, and physical approach, is prohibited.
1.4 Smoking in the natural bath is only permitted outside the changing, sanitary, and bathing areas. The sunbathing lawns must be kept clean of cigarette remains. Visitors under the age of 18 are not permitted to consume tobacco products.
1.5 Glass items (bottles, etc.) must not be used in the entire bathing area due to the risk of injury. This also applies to the play, beach, and sanitary areas. The bins provided must be used for waste disposal.
1.6 The staff exercises domiciliary rights vis-à-vis all bathers. Their instructions must be followed. Visitors who violate the House and Bathing Regulations may be excluded from visiting the natural bath. The same applies to persons who are visibly under the influence of intoxicating substances (alcohol or drugs) and endanger or disturb themselves or others. In such cases, the entrance fee will not be refunded. Non-compliance with these instructions renders the visitor liable to prosecution for trespass.
1.7 Found items must be handed over to the staff. Disposal of lost property takes place in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.
1.8 No musical instruments, audio playback devices, or television sets may be used.
1.9 Photographing and filming third parties and groups without their consent is not permitted. Photographing for commercial purposes and for the press requires the approval of Freizeit und Event GmbH.
1.10 The legal relationship between the bather and the operator is exclusively governed by private law.

2. Opening Hours, Admission, Access

2.1 Opening hours, admission deadlines, and usage fees are publicly announced. The operator may temporarily change and restrict opening hours for special occasions, during bad weather, and in the event of overcrowding.
2.2 Valid admission tickets must be kept until leaving the facilities and presented to the staff upon request.
2.3 Admission tickets will no longer be issued starting 45 minutes before closing time; bathing ends 15 minutes before closing time (the water areas must be cleared by this time).
2.4 Day tickets are valid only once on the day of purchase. Exchange, trade-in, or refund of unused tickets is fundamentally not possible. No replacement will be provided for lost multi-entry passes.
10-visit tickets / season tickets purchased during the 2021 season are valid exclusively within the 2021 season and are non-transferable.
2.5 For commercial and operational reasons, Freizeit und Event GmbH may restrict the use of the bath or parts of the bath in whole or in part. Claims for compensation by the guest are excluded. There is also no entitlement to a refund or reduction of the admission fee.
2.6 Access is not permitted for:
a) Persons under the influence of intoxicating substances
b) Persons bringing animals with them
c) Persons with open wounds or suffering from a communicable disease subject to mandatory reporting that could be transmitted in public settings. In case of doubt, the presentation of a medical certificate may be requested.
d) Persons who wish to use the bath for commercial or other non-standard bathing purposes.
2.7 Persons with severe intellectual disabilities who lack the capacity to understand self-endangering or third-party-endangering actions may only enter the baths of Freizeit und Event GmbH when accompanied by a person capable of providing appropriate supervision/care.
2.8 Children under 8 years of age are not permitted entry alone. Children under 10 years of age who are non-swimmers are only permitted entry to the baths of Freizeit und Event GmbH when accompanied by a responsible adult supervisor. ID must be presented upon request by staff.
2.9 Every bather must hold a valid admission ticket to use the corresponding service. Unauthorized use of a service may lead to the payment of an increased fee, exclusion from bathing operations, and criminal charges.

3. Liability

3.1 All facilities of the bath must be treated with care by visitors. Bathers use the bath and its facilities at their own risk, without prejudice to the operator’s obligation to maintain the bath and facilities in a safe condition for public use.
Every visitor is liable for damage caused by misuse, culpable contamination, or damage. The management of Freizeit und Event GmbH or its vicarious agent (staff) has the right to inspect ID cards and, if necessary, retain items brought in by the person causing the damage as collateral to secure compensation claims.
3.2 Freizeit und Event GmbH is liable only for damage resulting from an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by itself, one of its legal representatives, or one of its vicarious agents, provided it does not involve liability for damage arising from injury to life, body, or health.
3.3 Freizeit und Event GmbH is not liable in cases of force majeure, chance events, or defects that are not immediately recognizable even when exercising customary care (e.g., power outages).
3.4 Freizeit und Event GmbH is not liable for damage caused to parked vehicles by other motor vehicles or third parties, nor for theft or the contents of vehicles. The person causing the damage is liable for all damages, including those caused to parking facilities. No surveillance or custody contract is concluded.
3.5 Accidents must be reported to the staff immediately.

4. Use of the Bathing Facilities

4.1 Staying in the Karlsbad – Angersdorfer Teiche area is permitted only in standard swimwear. The decision as to whether swimwear meets this requirement rests with the staff. Special swim diapers are mandatory for babies and toddlers when using the lake. Swimwear must not be washed or wrung out in the pond.
4.3 In particular, the following are not permitted:
disturbing or annoying other visitors in an unreasonable manner through exercises or games; submerging other visitors or pushing them into the lake
gymnastics on the boundary of the non-swimmer area or playing on the buoys; polluting the water in any way
using sports equipment that poses a risk to oneself or other visitors (applies to fins, swim paddles, snorkels, etc.); using brought electrical devices that could disturb or injure other visitors
running in the beach area (tripping hazard)
throwing away sharp or pointed objects
The use of water toys is permitted only in the non-swimmer section of the lake and may be restricted by bath staff during periods of high visitor volume.
4.4 Non-swimmers may only use the non-swimmer area. The swimmer area may only be used by experienced swimmers. Bathing outside the designated bathing area (marked by buoys) is prohibited.
4.5 The lake must always be used with caution and mutual consideration.
4.6 Staff may permit exceptions to bathing rules if conditions allow.
4.7 Nudist (FKK) bathers must use the designated FKK area in Karlsbad – Angersdorfer Teiche; parts of or all swimwear may only be removed there. Bathers in the FKK area have the right to undress, but are not required to do so. When leaving the FKK area, on paths, and when using toilets, showers, sports areas, the water surface, and the snack bar, standard swimwear must be worn.
4.8 Entering/using the water surface is permitted only in the guarded bathing area. Entering/using the water outside this buoy-marked area is prohibited.

5. Exceptions

5.1 These House and Bathing Regulations apply to general bathing operations. Exceptions may be permitted for special events without requiring a formal revocation of the House and Bathing Regulations.
